How swapping crypto without KYC works on Symbiosis
What KYC is. KYC, or know your customer, is the identity check that centralized exchanges run before you can trade or withdraw: a photo ID, a selfie and often proof of address. Symbiosis has no accounts, so there is nothing to verify.
How a swap works. You can check swap rates without connecting a wallet; a wallet is only needed when you are ready to swap. Users keep control of their wallets and confirm all wallet actions themselves. Swaps from Bitcoin, Monero and Zcash use a deposit address shown in the app instead of a wallet connection. Depending on the route, a swap may use Symbiosis infrastructure together with external liquidity sources, such as DEXs, pools, aggregators, or partner protocols.
What you can swap. BTC, ETH, USDT, USDC, SOL, TRX, TON, BNB, XMR, ZEC and tokens on 50+ networks. Over the 90 days to 14 October 2026, Symbiosis processed about 110,000 swaps worth $2.86 billion; the largest flows were USDT and USDC between Ethereum and Tron.
No KYC is not the same as anonymous. Blockchains are public, so a swap from your wallet stays visible on networks such as Ethereum, Tron or Bitcoin. Monero hides amounts and addresses, and Zcash can hide them with shielded addresses. For more privacy, the Symbiosis app also has Private Swap: a swap mode for routes that may use privacy-oriented assets, centralized providers, or semi-centralized providers. It provides an additional layer of route privacy, but it does not make the swap fully anonymous.
Crypto only, no card. Symbiosis swaps crypto for crypto — there is no card or bank payment. Buying crypto with a card or a bank transfer goes through on-ramps, which usually ask for KYC.
Minimums and large amounts. There is no account limit, but each route has its own minimum to cover network fees. On 15 October 2026, 0.002 ETH was enough for ETH to USDT on Tron, while 0.001 ETH did not cover the fees; from Bitcoin, 0.0005 BTC went through and 0.0002 BTC was below the minimum. Large swaps work too: 100,000 USDT from Tron quoted 99,886.61 USDT on Ethereum.
Speed. Over the 90 days to 14 October 2026, the median swap from ETH or USDT on Ethereum to USDT on Tron took about 80 seconds. Swaps from Bitcoin took about 9.5 minutes, and swaps into Monero about 6 minutes.
Swap without KYC: Monero (XMR) exchange, Zcash (ZEC) exchange, USDT to XMR, BTC to XMR, BTC to USDT, USDT to TRX, ETH to SOL, Swap USDT.

How to swap crypto without KYC
A real case from 14 October 2026: a user swapped 1.0441 ETH (~$2,521) on Ethereum for 2,517.32 USDT on Tron via Symbiosis in 1 minute 25 seconds, with no account and no ID check. The steps:
Picked the coins. ETH on Ethereum as the coin to send and USDT on Tron as the coin to receive. The rate was visible before any wallet was connected.
Connected a wallet. An Ethereum wallet such as MetaMask held the ETH, and the USDT went to a Tron address entered in the app. No email, password or ID was asked for.
Entered the amount. 1.0441 ETH (~$2,521).
Checked the quote. Before signing, the app showed the USDT to receive, the fee, the rate and the estimated time, with a 2% slippage tolerance.
Signed once and got USDT. One transaction signed on Ethereum; 2,517.32 USDT arrived on Tron 1 minute 25 seconds later. Both sides are public: the deposit on Etherscan and the payout on Tronscan.
