What is Symbiosis used for?
Symbiosis solves two problems: liquidity fragmentation across different blockchain networks, and poor user experience while working with DeFi and web3 economy.
What’s $SIS?
The {relayers network nodes} have to stake SIS to participate in consensus and process swaps. On top of that, the SIS token is used as a governance token of Symbiosis DAO and Treasury.
A cross-chain swap enables trading tokens across different blockchains without using an intermediary (like crypto exchange) in the process.
For a long time, the exchange of tokens of different blockchain networks was an impossible task due to the technological differences of the networks. Symbiosis allows swapping any for any tokens on both EVM and non-EVM networks with a single click in your wallet (e.g. MetaMask).
Symbiosis doesn’t compete with your beloved AMM DEXes like Uniswap or PancakeSwap. Instead, we route the transaction through them in order to pick up the best price.
Liquidity providers have been for long time facilitating trading activities for different crypto pairs. However, no single interface existed to manage all liquidity across all possible blockchain networks.
With the rapid growth of Ethereum’s catching-uppers like Avalanche, Polygon, Terra, the problem becomes more evident. Hopefully, Symbiosis allows liquidity provision for all supported networks, so you can add and manage cross-chain liquidity without switching between different apps.
Symbiosis Mobile SDK is tailored for seamless integration. It helps enabling multichain swaps within mobile applications without the need for users the app. As a result: users are satisfied with the simplest way to manage funds across any chains and wallet/service providers are getting additional revenue streams and user acquisition and co-marketing capabilities. Sounds fun and simple, huh?
JS SDK
Symbiosis JS SDK is set to advance the web3 era. Any to any token swaps in your browser wallet? Easy. Mint and burn sTokens to get stablecoins on any chain? Hold my smoothie. It’s by far the simplest way to handle multi-chain swaps at your fingertips on a browser extension whatsoever.
