What is Katana Network Bridge?

The Symbiosis Katana Network bridge is the easiest way to move assets between blockchains. You can think of it as a cross-chain gateway that lets you connect to the Katana Network in only a few clicks. You don't have to set up anything complicated or switch between applications; you just pick what you want to transmit, and Symbiosis does the rest.

You can move tokens from different chains directly into the Katana ecosystem by using the Bridge Katana option in the Symbiosis WebApp. This means you can use Katana's decentralized apps and powerful DeFi technologies right away, with cheap transaction fees and clear exchange rates.

The Katana Network bridge is made for those who want things to be easy, fast, and work with other things, whether you're new to crypto or have been trading for a while. With Symbiosis, every part of your transaction is safe, doesn't involve a third party, and is completely decentralized. This means that you always have control over your assets.

Step 1: Open Symbiosis WebApp and connect your wallet securely

Go to the Symbiosis WebApp in your browser. Hit “Connect Wallet” in the top right, select your wallet (e.g., MetaMask), and approve the connection. Always use a self-custodial wallet — exchanges or smart contract addresses won’t work.

Step 2: Select Katana Network as the target blockchain

In the From section, pick your starting network and token — for example, Ethereum with 1 ETH. In the To section, choose Katana Network and the token you want there. In this case, 1 ETH converts to about 0.9994 ETH on Katana.

Step 3: Review the transaction details and confirm settings

This is where the numbers matter. On the review panel, you’ll see:

  • Estimated time: 1–3 minutes

  • Price impact: -0.01%

  • Network fee: ~$1.72 total (0.0002 ETH on Symbiosis chain + 0.0002 WETH on Katana chain

  • Exchange rate: 1.0005 ETH per ETH

  • Slippage tolerance: 2%

  • Minimum received: 0.9994 ETH

Double-check these before moving forward.

Step 4: Switch your wallet network if required and approve the rate

If your wallet is set to another network, the app will ask you to switch to Ethereum. Approve the change, lock in the exchange rate, and proceed.

Step 5: Confirm the swap in your wallet to start the transfer

Click Swap, then approve the transaction in your wallet. This triggers the cross-chain process from Ethereum to Katana.

Step 6: Check your Katana Network balance once the transfer completes

In about two minutes, your Katana wallet should show the 0.9994 ETH you just bridged — ready for swaps, DeFi, or staking.
