Swap Polygon

Convert to or from Polygon across networks with ease. Symbiosis offers on-chain and cross-chain swaps, transparent fees, and no registration required

/intro

Exchange Polygon

Symbiosis offers a practical way to handle Polygon (POL) swaps across a wide spectrum of networks — more than 45 blockchains are available, covering both EVM and non-EVM environments. Whether the transaction stays within a single chain or spans across several, the process remains unified and straightforward.

All exchange operations take place directly on the blockchain — no external services, no registrations. The system detects the most suitable route, checks liquidity pools, and finalizes the swap with a reliable rate. POL can be converted into another asset or bridged to a different network in just a few steps, using a single interface.

How to Swap Polygon

Using Symbiosis, it takes just a couple of minutes to exchange POL (Polygon) for another cryptocurrency. Here’s how the process works based on the interface shown in the screenshot:

1. Connect your wallet

Open the Symbiosis WebApp and click “Connect Wallet.” Once connected, your wallet address will appear (for example: 0x3C...0F1E), along with available networks.

2. Select networks and tokens

Choose Polygon as the source network and enter the amount of POL you want to convert — for instance, 10,000 POL. Then, choose your destination network, such as BNB Chain, and a token to receive — in this case, USDT.

3. Review the swap route

The platform will automatically determine the best route for the swap. In this example:

POL → USDC.e → USDC → USDT.

Each step ensures sufficient liquidity and a competitive rate.

4. Switch networks and verify the rate

If your wallet is currently connected to a different blockchain, you’ll be prompted to switch networks. After that, confirm the exchange rate — here, it was 5.45994 POL per USDT, with a minimal price impact of -0.04%.

5. Approve and pay fees

Review the transaction details, including estimated fees — such as $0.25 on Boba and $0.5 on BNB. The minimum amount you’ll receive is displayed before the swap — in this case, 1794.89 USDT. Approve the conversion in your wallet to proceed.

6. Complete the exchange

The process typically takes 1–2 minutes. Once done, your wallet will reflect the updated balance with the new asse

What is Polygon

Polygon (POL) is a widely adopted Layer-2 network built to enhance Ethereum’s scalability. It offers fast block times, minimal fees, and compatibility with the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM), making it a preferred environment for decentralized applications and crypto users seeking efficient transactions.

Whether you’re using Polygon for yield farming, NFT platforms, or cross-chain trading, there comes a moment when you need to swap, convert, or exchange POL for other assets. With Symbiosis, this shift happens without friction — the platform simplifies the entire process, connecting Polygon to 45+ blockchain ecosystems in just one transaction.

 Why Symbiosis?

 Why Symbiosis?

A single place to handle your assets

Managing assets across multiple blockchains can quickly become a chore. Symbiosis takes that complexity off your shoulders by giving you one clear interface for all your swaps, conversions, and exchanges. There’s no need to juggle bridges, apps, or extra wallets — the process is kept clean and direct.

Beyond just EVM

Unlike many platforms, Symbiosis doesn’t limit you to Ethereum-compatible networks. You’re free to move Polygon (POL) not only within EVM chains, but also across non-EVM blockchains. Whether you’re dealing with standard crypto pairs or lesser-known tokens, the system finds a verified path with solid liquidity.

Real-time results without the noise

There’s no waiting in the dark. Before you confirm anything, you’ll see the estimated time, actual rate, all fees, and the minimum amount you’ll receive. It’s a smooth experience from start to finish — just connect your wallet, adjust your amount, and the rest happens almost without effort.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need POL to make a swap from the Polygon network?

You don't have to wait in the dark. You'll see the projected time, actual rate, all costs, and the least amount you'll get before you confirm anything. It's easy to use from start to finish. Just link your wallet, change the amount, and everything else happens virtually automatically.

How can I be sure everything is safe during the swap?

Symbiosis handles the process directly on-chain, thus there is no need for a third party to hold the funds. Always check the wallet address, amount, and networks you choose again before you approve the transaction. The system takes care of the routing, but you need to pay attention to make sure nothing gets missed, especially when working with cross-chain pathways.

Are MATIC and POL the same thing?

Not anymore. Since September 2024, POL has officially taken over as the native token of the Polygon PoS network. If you had MATIC directly on Polygon, it has already been changed to POL without you having to do anything. But by default, MATIC coins on Ethereum or other chains weren't moved. They are still there, but you have to convert them by hand through the official Polygon Portal. So, even though MATIC is still out there, it's not being utilized for gas or staking on Polygon anymore. If you want to swap or trade, make sure you're using POL, especially on the Polygon chain.
