About the TRX to USDT swap
Why swap TRX to USDT. TRX is volatile, USDT is not: converting part of your TRX to USDT keeps the value in dollars while staying on-chain. USDT on Tron is also one of the cheapest ways to send dollars.
Where your USDT can land. USDT (TRC20) inside the Tron network, or USDT on Ethereum, BNB Chain or TON in the same transaction. You choose the network before you sign.
What you need. TRX in a Tron wallet such as TronLink. Keep a part of it for Tron network resources: a swap from Tron uses energy and bandwidth, which are paid in TRX unless you have staked TRX.
Cost. On 6 October 2026, 3,000 TRX returned about 1,007 USDT on Tron with a $6.78 fee, and about 1,005 USDT on Ethereum or TON. Most of the fee is the Tron network cost of the transaction.

How to swap TRX to USDT
Example quote from 6 October 2026: swapping 3,000 TRX (~$1,007) on Tron in the Symbiosis app returns about 1,006.85 USDT on Tron, delivered in 1–2 minutes. The router looks at the available liquidity and picks the best combination of price, fee and delivery time. Here is the flow:
Open the swap. Go to the Symbiosis app and connect a Tron wallet such as TronLink. There is no sign-up and no KYC.
Pick the token you send. Choose TRX on Tron in the From field.
Choose USDT on Tron. Set USDT as the token to receive and Tron as the destination network. Enter the amount: 3,000 TRX (~$1,007).
Check the quote. Before you sign, the app shows how much USDT you get, the fee, price impact and time. In this example: about 1,006.85 USDT, a $0.97 route fee, with 2% slippage tolerance.
Sign and receive. Confirm the transaction in your wallet; USDT lands in your wallet on Tron.
