TON bridge: swap to and from TON across chains
Moving BNB or ETH to TON usually means juggling multiple bridges and wallets. Here you'll see how a single swap gets your tokens onto TON, what fees to expect, and how to track each transfer.

TON Bridge v1 and its limits
Bridges become an essential part of the DeFi world being natural gateways for inflows and outflows of liquidity. The game of networks is an outrageous one — in a way it's a zero-sum game, a survival of the fittest. So it's about inflows and outflows mediated by bridges and exchanges.
Understanding the importance of bridging and staying attuned to the latest trends in the crypto space, we couldn't help but continue the path we embarked on some time ago — we're talking about the cross-chain bridge for the TON network.
TON Bridge v1: how the journey begins
As one might recall, we released TON Bridge v1 in June 2024. To develop it, we utilized the official TON bridge after receiving a grant.
In Bridge v1, one-way swaps into TON from all other supported networks (e.g., Tron, Ethereum L2s, etc.) were implemented, but they were limited to Toncoin itself, not custom jettons like USDT, HMSTR, and others.
While the solution was feasible enough to facilitate swaps into TON, we realized it wasn't ideal and didn't cover a variety of use cases that could arise. To address these and enable even larger liquidity flow into TON, we began the development of a more advanced solution. Today, we're excited to introduce TON Bridge v2, which offers far more capabilities than our original version.
TON Bridge v2: why we are different
In the new version of Symbiosis TON Bridge, we have two distinct features that set us apart from other solutions:
It is a fully-fledged, smart contract-enabled solution that is decentralized and non-custodial;
It is a two-way, from- and to-TON bridge, supporting TON and USDT TON on one side, and 1000+ tokens from 34 networks, including native Bitcoin, Tron, Ethereum, various Ethereum L2s, BTC L2s and many more networks;
It is a composable solution, meaning that you can both integrate swap engine into your wallet, DeFi protocol, aggregator or whatever you're building, as well as enable cross-chain zaps from- and into- TON;
All these features are standard for our protocol, ensuring seamless and diverse routes between various networks. Needless to say, our Bridge has become the most advanced and efficient solution in the market currently.
Note: Symbiosis is currently running final tests, which will be completed a week after the public launch. During this time, the supported routes to TON will gradually be opened.
As of now, one-click swaps to Toncoin are available from the BNB network, and Any-2-USDT TON swaps, including USDT TRON to USDT TON, are already available for users.
Security and audits
Symbiosis upholds high-security standards across its protocol, ensuring all smart contracts undergo thorough checks for safety and reliability.
The audit of the Symbiosis TON Bridge, conducted by Zokyo Security, confirmed the smart contract's security with a low-risk rating. The review found no critical, high, or medium issues, resulting in a score of 97/100. The full audit report is available in our documentation section for those interested. The full audit report is available in our Github for those interested.
Try Bridge To and From TON Yourself
We are live and Symbiosis TON Bridge is now available in the Symbiosis app through this link. Within the app, you can easily select the direction of your swap, whether you're transferring funds into TON or back from it — just a few clicks and the process is complete.

Why do we find TON important?
TON is one of the fastest-growing blockchains — it has experienced remarkable growth from 2023 to 2024. At the end of 2023, the TVL (Total Value Locked) on TON was around $13 million, but by mid-2024, it had skyrocketed to over $760 million, representing a massive increase of more than 5,700% in just six months.
Backed by the user base of the Telegram messenger, which currently totals 900 million Monthly Active Users, we can say the potential of TON is just beginning to unfold. According to estimates from the TON Foundation, the user conversion from Telegram to the TON blockchain is expected to reach 500 million users by 2028.
Considering these numbers, we view the TON network as highly promising and do not doubt that we will see a variety of exciting DeFi products with significant liquidity from users attracted in the near future.
Collaborations and future developments
Symbiosis, as a protocol, actively welcomes collaborations with a wide range of applications and projects, including those from the TON ecosystem. To support this, we've also prepared an API so you can integrate the Bridge wherever you'd like, for example in a mini-app!
At the moment, we are in discussions with several wallet providers and DeFi protocols to integrate our bridge, unlocking new opportunities for their users with TON. As enthusiasts, we are very open to any other proposals and requests, so don't hesitate to reach out to us via Google Forms!
Keep an eye out for updates — something can go live even sooner than we expected!

The more significant upgrades Symbiosis releases, the more improvements, integrations, collaborations, and partnerships we will see in the future.
TON is a world of its own and can't be fully covered in just a single, even detailed, article. The integration process is multi-faceted and will unfold in stages, with more articles, upgrades, and announcements to come.
