Lifting the minimum swap limit

Another day - another great feature for our Symbiosis WebApp! We're excited to announce our new implementation and invite you to our upgraded cross-chain swaps - now available without the amount of funds' limitations.

Everything you need to know about - right here

Context

Previously, users faced amount limits for bridges and swaps at Symbiosis WebApp where the equivalent of 10 USD was the minimum required to process the transaction. The threshold was restricting users from performing and cross-chain swaps.

While the majority of swap and bridge platforms still limit their users to process with the minimum equivalent to 10-15 USD, we decided to fix this situation and provide Symbi fam with more possibilities for seamless token swaps.

What has been done?

Our team has pulled off the limit and implemented a new feature that allows users to proceed with swaps of the amount of assets that is less than the equivalent of 10 USD. Yeah, that's right! 3 USDC or 0.001 ETH - all these types of transactions may be processed at Symbiosis. This is another step and important milestone for us to make DeFi more accessible to our Symbi fam!

How to swap and get the best pricing?

  • Visit Symbiosis WebApp here and and connect your wallet of your choice by clicking "Connect Wallet" at the top right corner of the screen;

  • Select the assets you'd like to swap and exchange on the chain you are willing to proceed with;

  • Next step is to enter the amount of funds you want to swap. Remember - no limitations for the sum of assets

  • Review the terms of the transaction and proceed by clicking the big green button "Swap";

  • If required, confirm the swap via your wallet.

Voila - all done! After necessary blockchain confirmations your transaction is processed. And just like that - in a short matter of time your funds are transferred to your desired chain and asset-type.

01

What is the minimum swap amount on Symbiosis?

Symbiosis removed the minimum swap threshold. Previously the WebApp required at least the equivalent of 10 USD per transaction; now smaller amounts like 3 USDC or 0.001 ETH can be processed cross-chain.

02

Can I swap less than 10 USD cross-chain?

Yes. Symbiosis pulled the limit and now allows swaps and bridges below the 10 USD equivalent that used to be required, so tiny transactions like 3 USDC or 0.001 ETH go through the WebApp.

03

How do I make a cross-chain swap on Symbiosis?

Open the Symbiosis WebApp, click Connect Wallet in the top-right, pick the assets and chains you want, enter the amount, review terms and click Swap, then confirm in your wallet. Funds arrive after blockchain confirmations.

04

Why did Symbiosis remove the 10 USD minimum?

The team saw the threshold as a restriction that blocked users from doing small cross-chain swaps. Removing it is framed as a step toward making DeFi more accessible to the Symbi community.

05

Do other bridges still have minimum swap limits?

According to Symbiosis, most swap and bridge platforms still cap users with a minimum equivalent to 10-15 USD per transaction. Symbiosis positions its no-minimum policy as a difference versus that norm.

06

Which wallet do I need to swap on Symbiosis?

Any wallet you choose. The WebApp flow starts by clicking Connect Wallet in the top-right corner and picking your wallet, then confirming the swap from inside it when prompted.

07

How long does a Symbiosis cross-chain swap take?

The article says the swap completes in a short matter of time after the necessary blockchain confirmations, once you submit and approve it from your wallet. No exact duration is given.

08

Where can I follow Symbiosis updates and SIS offers?

Symbiosis points users to its X/Twitter and Telegram channels for news on upcoming integrations and special offers for $SIS holders. Those are the channels called out in the post for staying connected.
