Announcing ZETA XP Rewards Among veSIS Holders & Testnet Users

Good news for Symbiotes this week! 

Exciting things are happening right now - we’re thrilled to announce the Rewards Activity and distribute ZETA tokens among the users that have staked their SIS tokens to obtain the vote-escrow version - veSIS plus the participants of ZetaChain Testnet Campaigns.

Context & Eligibility Criteria 

ZetaChain is building a platform for Universal Apps, simplifying the user and developer experience and bringing native access to Bitcoin, EVMs, and beyond. As recently announced, ZetaChain has held the ZETA rewards Request For Proposal campaign among the ecosystem projects to distribute ZETA token pool, therefore Symbiosis’ proposal was approved.

The rewards amount consists of around 100,000 ZETA that will be distributed in two distinguished token pools among the Symbiosis stakers that hold veSIS coins and Zetachain Testnet users. Since the RFP campaign was organized by ZetaChain, the Zetahub XP program users will receive the majority of the rewards.

Here are the important points:

• If you have used ZetaChain Testnet prior to the Mainnet launch in 2024, made at least one transaction on Zetachain Mainnet and participated in the Zetachain XP program, you are eligible to claim ZETA tokens;

  
  

• If you have previously staked and locked your SIS tokens via the Symbiosis Rewards page, you are eligible to claim ZETA tokens;

  
  

• The rewards amount that was allocated to veSIS holders was calculated based on the amount of veSIS tokens on any networks supported (Ethereum, BNB, zkSync Era and Linea);   

  
  

• There are two cohorts of the veSIS holders that were taken to calculate the rewards amount - if the user staked more than 10 veSIS tokens and 1000 veSIS (with the second cohort to receive a greater amount of ZETA);

  
  

• veSIS holders Snapshot was taken on June 27 2024, 10 AM UTC;

  
  

• The maximum amount of the distributed ZETA tokens to one wallet does not exceed 500 ZETA.
