Intro: What is Cronos EVM?  

Let’s meet Cronos EVM - an EVM-compatible L1 blockchain built on the Cosmos SDK. It offers high transaction throughput, fast transaction finality, and low transaction fees. Its Proof of Authority (i.o. PoA) consensus mechanism provides a balance of decentralization, scalability, and efficient transaction processing with minimal environmental impact.

Additionally, Cronos EVM captures the sight of crypto enthusiasts because its Inter-Blockchain Communication (IBC) allows the network to communicate with other Cosmos SDK-based blockchains that have IBC enabled. Here’s to the Cosmos ecosystem!

Since Cronos EVM network by design supports calls and information exchange with other Ethereum-like networks, smart contracts at Symbiosis make bridging to the network smoother and more accessible.

• We enable the cross-chain connection support of Bitcoin and TRON Blockchain - the non-EVM networks - with Cronos EVM. 
  
  

• Since Cronos EVM has its own gas token, transaction fees on the network are paid in Cronos token - $CRO.  

Swap and Bridge to Cronos EVM Within One Transaction

No need to sign up or proceed with KYC - all you need to have for a successful Cronos EVM bridge transaction is a supported wallet and enough balance of assets. 

Here’s a guide on how to bridge to Cronos EVM via Symbiosis:

1. Open our Symbiosis WebApp - this is an application where all exchanges are handled;
   
   

2. Choose Cronos EVM and another network as desired blockchains for your bridge operation;
   
   

3. Select the tokens and define the amount of assets you want to exchange. For example, 0.1 ETH from Ethereum to Cronos EVM in CRO or USDT tokens;
   
   

4. Connect your wallet and verify the terms of the exchange;
   
   

5. If everything looks good, proceed to bridging your funds.

Voila! In a short matter of time, your wallet balance will be updated. One transaction, a couple of clicks in your wallet, and your assets are bridged to Cronos EVM. 

All operations are handled by Symbiosis and its smart contracts, so there’s no need to pay extra gas and exchange fees.
